Bloodworm

Bloodworm capture the dark, atmospheric energy of gothic rock while channeling the melodic sensibilities of post-punk legends. With haunting vocals from singer George Curtis reminiscent of The Cure, brooding basslines that echo Joy Division’s raw intensity, and swirling guitars that nod to the shoegaze textures of Ride, they take you on a sonic journey through the melancholic and the ethereal. ‘Back of a Hand’ and ‘Depths’ has solidified their place in the modern goth-punk scene, offering a fresh yet nostalgic sound that will resonate with fans of the genre’s pioneers.

The band burst into 2024 by filling out Rescue Rooms to capacity for Beat The Streets festival, followed by a headline gig in Nottingham that sold out over 4 months in advance. By May, they were playing national stages at Dot To Dot festival and had completed their first headline tour. This pace carried through to the second half of the year, with performances up and down the country including a support slot with Shame in Huddersfield, a sell out Autumn headline UK tour. Their performance to thousands at 2025’s Rockaway Beach Festival has kick-started 2025 where the previous year left off.
