March has been a great month for new music! Do Nothing’s brilliant Glueland EP came out a few weeks back, and we’ve also been treated to ace singles by the likes of joey maxwell, Grandmas House, Low Island, junodream and Folly Group!
Do Nothing
Dot To Dot faves Do Nothing have released their superb ‘Glueland’ EP this month. Building even further on their exceptional 2020 EP Zero ‘Dollar Bill’, the band are stacking up quite the back catalogue of punchy post-punk tracks. If you haven’t seen these guys play live at a D2D in years gone by, you simply must make sure you are right at the front this September.
joey maxwell
We’ve had this one on a continuous loop in our head since the track dropped last week. joey maxwell’s slacker indie pop is fun, catchy and lyrically astute – a real one to watch in 2021.
Low Island
We’ve been following Low Island closely since being in the crowd for a tremendous set at Dot To Dot in 2017. It’s taken some time, but the debut album is right on the horizon, and we’re beyond thrilled for the guys. New track ‘I Do It For You’ hits in all the right places, and we’re sure the video below will whet the appetite for a September set at D2D.
